Something New for a New Year!
It’s been pointed out to me that I do a lot. I travel frequently, exhibit often and I paint many paintings! I think it’s fair to say: I love what I do, and I do (a lot of) what I love!
Although I keep promising the schedule will lighten after May…or maybe June…my very first event of 2026 is something completely new, and though it’s taken a boatload of time and energy, it’s a creative project that I’m extraordinarily proud to be part of.
If you’ve been following my social media accounts, you can’t miss the news that on January 20th (just a few days away…ahhhhh!!), myself, Bill Pack, David Townsend and Dwight Knowlton will launch the inaugural Art House Collective during Arizona Car Week. (See more at: arthousecollective.org)
We are setting up four fine art galleries under one roof at The Warehouse in Mesa, AZ, all celebrating our love of the automobile. This is a big deal to each of us as we create something wildly different during an already established week of car related activities. If you find yourself in the greater Phoenix area January 20-25, I hope you will stop by to check out this unique experience that we are building. We have collectively put our hearts and souls into every detail of this exhibition. Please let me know if you plan to visit so I can make sure to be onsite when you’re there.
With such a monumental event on the horizon, I know it’s also important to be mindful that while these adventures are worth celebrating, finding rest and being creative only happens with quality down-time. It’s hard for me to relent, but I will be home more in 2026 and exhibiting less…after May, or maybe June. Lol
Oh, by the way, we’ll be hosting an open house at my studio during Lit Week, Los Angeles (an international Porsche die-hard gathering), Thursday, Feb 26 through Saturday, Feb 28. If you’re passing through the Southern California area and would like to stop by, let me know…I’d be honored to have you as my guest.
In the meantime, if I’m lucky enough to see you somewhere along the way, I will consider it a blessing!
Until then…
Cheers & Happy New Year!
