I was recently inspired by Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with gold. This practice of embracing the flawed, imperfect and broken to allow renewal and create a new life is beautiful. I wanted to explore this concept further with a limited series of new works titled "Beautifully Broken".
